There are some very simple do's and don'ts about planning your trip:
Do:
Plan at least 8 months in advance
Buy a good travel guide
Stay in the park at multiple stops
Prepare to walk a lot
Leave a full day for the Old Faithful
area
Go on at least one wildlife safari
Don't:
Stay outside the park or in only
one base area
Get close to a buffalo, elk, moose, or
bear for a picture
Plan too much in one day
Carry too much camera equipment
